Take Action

OLPCorps is OLPC’s official field volunteer program. It is a worldwide community dedicated to transforming education for children who have had little or no access to modern information technology. OLPCorps gives young people the opportunity to contribute their minds, bodies, time and skills to delivering better education for children living in some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.

Contact us about the program

The One Laptop per Child Intern Program seeks to support country partners by meeting their needs with highly qualified candidates, find innovative solutions to furthering OLPC objectives, and advocate OLPC's 5 core principles. The Intern program is housed under OLPC Association, a branch of OLPC based in Miami, Florida, and offers both formal and informal internships in numerous locations throughout the world.

Sometimes kids and adults need a little extra help with their laptop. They want to know how to install a new program, or fix a problem. We have a very dedicated team of volunteers that assist users with problems. Not much technical experience is necessary

Developer's Resources

Events of all sorts—on education, technology, culture, games, ecology, and children's events—are often interested in having an OLPC table. Print out a few flyers, make your own presentation, and organize a presence there. This is a great way to find other enthusiasts in your field or city. You can also plan an OLPC Jam focused on creating games, tools, or other materials.
